Eric Perkins has spent his entire career in the media industry. His father was a longtime correspondent for NBC Nightly News and the Today Show, and later, the host of the award winning show, Biography on A&E.

Deciding to follow in Dad's footsteps, Perk graduated from Pepperdine University with a Broadcasting degree, He immediately made his mark as a sportscaster at stations in Tupelo, Memphis, and eventually in the Twin Cities where he worked at the NBC station for 25 years.

Perk has covered Super Bowls, 5 Olympic Games, All Star Games, the Ryder Cup, the X-Games, Final Fours and so much more, including his Emmy Award winning segment Perk at Play. His decades of unique storytelling gave him the ideal jumping off point to start Perk at Play Productions.

Shelley Perkins is the glue behind the scenes at Perk at Play Productions. She serves as Head of Operations, maintaining the website, managing the budget, overseeing social media strategies and collaborating with her husband Eric to help ensure an efficient and quality experience for clients.

Her background in the digital and media space is vast, and her marketing experience and event planning have been an amazing asset. Shelley is a Drake alum and mother of three.
